These qualifications have been developed in close liaison with industry specialists, electric vehicle manufacturers, training providers, the health and safety executive and the IMI Sector Skills Council.
This new portfolio has been developed in response to the skills that employers in the industry are now demanding . The qualifications are the first of their kind to ensure the health and safety of individuals working on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Electric and hybrid vehicles are the future of motoring, providing a more environmentally friendly mode of transport. As more electric and hybrid vehicles become available on the market, it’s important that you’re aware of the hazards involved with working with high-energy electrical systems.
