Apprenticeships

Gain qualifications and earn while you work

Get a real job, with training. You will be employed and get paid. For many, this is the perfect way to start their career. Your employer will give you time to study, and you'll work with a tutor to gain the skills and knowledge you need to achieve a nationally-recognised qualification.

What different types of apprenticeships are there?

Apprenticeships are available across a wide range of businesses and organisations including business admin, HR, accountancy, management training and health and social care. You can also do an apprenticeship at different levels, from GCSE equivalent right through to degree level.

Thanks to our great links with businesses locally and across the UK we get calls from employers looking for apprentices every day. Make sure you regularly check the vacancy page or contact one of our team about what you are interested in and they’ll keep you posted if something comes up that you might be interested in.

Our apprenticeship training is provided by Hart Learning & Development, based at NHC’s Stevenage campus.

What do I get from an apprenticeship?

  • A paid job while you learn
  • Training and support from your tutors and your employer
  • Recognised qualifications
  • Understand how to put theory into practice for work
  • Kick start a career with an employer who invests in you
