We’re here to support your future career development through our wide choice of available courses, spanning a broad range of industries. With strong links to industry experts both inside the classroom and beyond, a course from NHC is the perfect opportunity to grow and discover your true potential.
Take the first steps towards your career – apply for a course today!
Applying for an NHC course is easy – simply go to our 16-18 learners page and pick a subject area that interests you. Choose one of our courses from the curriculum page and click ‘Apply For The Course‘ to fill in your details and submit your application. Once you’ve sent your application, we’ll send you an email to confirm that we’ve received it (or a letter if you haven’t got an email address).
If you’re interested in more than one of our courses, feel free to apply to each one! There’s no limit on how many applications you can submit, but we will ask you to pick just one when you enrol in August.
After you have applied…
1. We’ll arrange an interview with you as soon as we can. Depending on your course, this may be face-to-face or online through Microsoft Teams.
2. After your interview, we’ll write to you to offer you a place, either as a conditional or unconditional offer. An unconditional offer means you can enrol. A conditional offer means you need to meet some more requirements before enrolment – either exam results or a reference.
3. This is the moment you officially become an NHC student! It typically takes place at the end of August, although you can enrol after term starts in September. We’ll let you know the exact dates nearer the time.
You can download a digital copy of our 2022-23 prospectus which gives an insight into college life and an overview of each curriculum department. Full details of each course are available here on the website, where you can also complete your application.
