September 2026: Enrolment for Education and Early Years Studies

What do I need to bring to the College to enrol on an Education & Early Years Studies course?

Please download and complete all forms listed below:

Don’t forget to bring your completed forms with you to your enrolment session!

Please also bring:

  • GCSE results and any other documents required to meet the conditions stated on your offer letter.
  • Identification – either a passport, birth certificate, or national insurance number.
  • Proof of Additional Learning Support, if required.
  • £50 payment, which covers some curriculum trips and guest speakers. Payable via cash, cheque (made to North Hertfordshire College), or card.
  • For Level 1 students: £59.70 payment for a DBS for work placements.

All students also need to complete the DBS form.

More information about financial support can be found in our 19+ section and on our Financial Support page.

Are you on holiday over our enrolment period?

It’s important that you come to an in-person enrolment session so you can complete the last bits of paperwork to officially join as a student.

If you’ve received an offer but are going to be on holiday when your enrolment session happens, please reply to your enrolment invitation to let your course administrator know. They will then rearrange your appointment to a different date.

Please note this only applies to students who are on holiday on their enrolment date.

Financial support for students aged 19+

If you’re aged 19 or over, and have already completed a Level 3 qualification, you’ll need to pay tuition fees for your course. The Advanced Learner Loan can help with this.

Please note that you’ll need to have been accepted for an Advanced Learner Loan before you can enrol on your course.

To find out more, please visit our Advanced Learner Loan page, or email enrolment@nhc.ac.uk
