I went to Pub in the Park for the first time on Saturday in St Albans and I had an amazing time.
 

I got to work in the Hand and Flowers tent through the day and evening, and it was amazing to be thrown in the deep end and be part of such a busy and full-on experience. This has really benefitted me, as it will look great on my CV and has given me good insight into what it’s like to work in a kitchen full of experienced chefs. I learnt lots of tips and more about the way a kitchen runs whilst being there, and I am very grateful I was able to take part in this experience.
 

The whole day for me was such a buzz. It is already a massive highlight of my college experience and will remember it for the rest of my career – I can’t wait to return next year and experience it all again.

Pub in the Park was just as good as I remember it last year. It was an amazing experience I’ll never forget, with friendly people that are having fun while serving outstanding cuisine.
 

The food in every tent is so unique and flavourful that you just want more, then at the end of the day listening to Craig David sing was a great reward. I recommend either working at or visiting Pub in the Park – it’s an amazing experience that everyone will love, as there is something for everyone there. You’ll leave wanting to come back and do it all over again.

I had an amazing time volunteering at Pub in the Park with Atul Kochhar and his team. It was a lesson like no other! The chefs were great and very keen on educating me on the food we were serving and the origins of the dishes and ideas. It was a challenge, but after finishing the weekend – it really cemented my passion and love for this industry.
