Our Engineering and Construction learners have to develop a deep understanding of both practical, hands-on skills as well as the crucial theory behind their work, making quality teaching essential for success.
Feedback from learners is one of the best ways to find out how well our tutors are delivering this key knowledge. We are particularly proud of the recent feedback our Plumbing tutor, Gareth Rozee, has received from his level 2 learners. Gareth is responsible for teaching all aspects of the plumbing programme, from theory to practical, as well as delivering the Personal and Academic Devlopment sessions (PAD) for our students to ensure they have those all-important transferable skills to set them up for success in the industry.

“I’ve honestly found the last 2 years to be the best in my life, the time in theory has been the best. I’ve never had a teacher who actually cared about my future and gave me a chance, never giving up on me like Gareth has. It’s going to be sad not seeing him every week! I truly think Gareth is one of the best plumbing theory teachers in the whole of the UK, considering not a single person failed. My time with Gareth has been great, and I’m really grateful.”
