Our Health & Social Care learners are always busy getting involved with work experience placements, charity work, careers fairs and more. Despite her busy academic schedule, T Level Adult Nursing learner Daisy made time to research, write-up and publish an article in the Spring/Summer edition of Tutor2U’s Health and Social Care magazine.
The Tutor2U Health & Social Care magazine offers learners insight into current industry news and trends, helping to add real-life context to their curriculum topics. Our tutors regularly use learning resources such as Tutor2U’s magazines to help inform their teaching sessions. With Daisy’s knowledge of the magazine content and pertinent issues discussed in its various articles, she felt confident to put pen to paper when challenged with the task of writing her own article.
We’re proud of the way Daisy seized the opportunity to research and write about an important health issue affecting our young communities – vaping.
There is currently a vaping crisis among young people, with a dangerous number of children picking up the habit. Daisy’s research into this issue, exploring key statistics as well as the damage vaping can cause, can be read in her insightful article here.
A huge congratulations to Daisy, our very own published author!
