Noor Ul Ain has recently completed her level 1 computing course at North Hertfordshire College, and she is looking forward to moving on to level 2. Noor shares her story and experiences of studying at NHC, since moving to the UK a few years ago.
“I always wanted to do computing and NHC is a great college. I haven’t been disappointed since I enrolled here, its brilliant!
“I find learning new things very interesting, and on this course, I have loved learning something different every day, it’s all delivered in a very enjoyable way. I had excellent teachers they made all the learning really great fun, very supportive and encouraging.
“To help gain an understanding of careers in the industry we take part in bridge sessions where the teacher explains what career options are available to you and helps you to reach your destination step by step including understanding what the employer expects from their employees.
“In the future, I hope to have learned and grown, to have increased my skills and had lots of fun. My next challenge is the Level 2 computing course and then I hope to get a job I enjoy. My goal is to be the best at whatever level I am.
Rakhee Shah, computing teacher, said of Noor:
“Noor is a polite and good-humoured young lady she has grown in confidence since studying with us, and it has been particularly pleasing seeing this coming through in our computing sessions. She is focused on her studies, and I am pleased to help support her reach her goal to be working in IT”
