At North Hertfordshire College, we’re dedicated to helping our students build the necessary skills, confidence, and experience to achieve success in their chosen sector, or even transfer them to a completely different field. We aim to do this by giving our students the best experience possible, and if there’s anyone who understands what the NHC experience is like, it’s Morgan Fage! As well as being a Curriculum Administrator, Morgan used to be an NHC student herself.

“I was a student at North Hertfordshire College studying Public Services and had a great time. The tutors supported me in developing my skills, including my time management, as I was also working part-time alongside my course. When I finished my Public Services course, there was an opportunity to join the Sports and Public Services team as a Success Coach, and I decided to apply so I could support future NHC students in the same way I was supported myself.
“As well as helping the learners to achieve their goals, I really enjoyed doing the administration side of the role. There’s something really satisfying about planning and organising things to help learners have the smoothest college journey possible.
“After about a year as a Success Coach, there was a new opening in the Sports, Public Services, Business, and Travel & Tourism department for a Curriculum Administrator to join the team and I decided to go for it. I enjoy working with my team and helping them out in times of need, it’s a great opportunity to use my organisation skills and feel like I’m having an impact on how things are working.
“I would say that if you’re thinking of joining North Hertfordshire College, either as a student or as a member of staff, I would really recommend it. You’ll feel supported and included during your time here. Everyone is always willing to help and support you at any time.”
