In October, North Hertfordshire College’s friends at Junction 7 Creatives received the Judge’s Special Award at the Pride of Stevenage 2023 Awards! It was great to see members of the wider community be recognised for the positive work they do in the Stevenage area – especially as Junction 7 offers opportunities to our own Supported Internship students who work within their team.
NHC Supported Interns CJ, Kyle, and Luke have been collaborating closely with the Junction 7 team to create advertising for upcoming events and exhibitions. We’re happy to say that the collaboration will continue into 2024, too, with some exciting events coming to the Stevenage area.
During the Pride of Stevenage Awards ceremony, held at the Gordon Craig Theatre, the organisers presented a video which demonstrates some of the brilliant work that the Junction 7 team do. CJ, Kyle, and Luke each had their moment of fame in the video, taking the time to talk about what they do in their internships and why they enjoy going to the space.
