On Tuesday 18th June NHC level 3 fashion students showcased a range of their final year pieces on the catwalk in the Fragments Fashion Show.
The Church of St. Andrew and St. George in Stevenage provided a dramatic backdrop for the event where looks inspired by the Romeo and Juliet ballet and the national army museum were modelled.
Briony Marston, head of creative and performing arts said: “I am incredibly proud of all students and staff involved in the event. The show was professional and well-received; giving our Fashion students the opportunity to share their innovative designs in the magnificent setting of St. Andrew & St. George’s Church in Stevenage. It was a pleasure to be a part of the Stevenage Festival and to work alongside Stevenage Music Centre’s youth steelpan trio.”
Level 3 Year 2 fashion student, Aliyah Cooper, who’ll be progressing on to study at the Wimbledon College of Arts said: “The venue was stunning and I loved that it was part of Stevenage Festival. A brilliant way to showcase everyone’s work!”
