North Hertfordshire College is incredibly proud to work with the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust to deliver valuable work experience opportunities to our students.
The NHS Care Academy programme was designed to help bridge the gap between education and employment, providing real-life work experience to Health and Social Care learners and helping them build confidence operating in their future work environment.
Thanks to the support of the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, NHC learners have been completing their placements at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage and securing interviews for full-time roles upon completion.
The valuable work experience they gain, paired with an industry-aligned curriculum, and state-of-the-art learning environments ensures NHC learners feel fully prepared to enter the healthcare sector.
The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust have been delighted with the outcome of our collaboration so far, and we look forward to continuing our support of our local NHS trust.
