The impact of this support can be felt in student successes, and in the feedback we receive from both learners and their parents.
Take Anastasia, one of our Travel and Tourism learners, for example. Anastasia joined us in September 2024 to complete her course alongside GCSE maths and English, and with continued encouragement from Travel and Tourism tutor, Kayleigh, she has excelled ever since.
It’s always great to receive feedback, and we were delighted to receive this incredible email from Anastasia’s parents, Lesley and Cos, who recently celebrated Anastasia’s GCSE success.

“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you sincerely for everything you have done for Anastasia. Not only has she achieved fantastic Level 2 results in her course, but she has also grown so much as a person—and that is in no small part down to your support.
“You have always believed in her, encouraged her to face her reality, and helped her take ownership of her responsibilities. You’ve pushed her to step outside the box, challenge herself, and discover what she is truly capable of. Most importantly, you’ve shown her how to remain resilient when challenges come her way.
“What has meant so much is the way you have worked hand in hand with her English and Maths teachers—creating a united approach that has given her the chance to tackle subjects that have always felt like a mountain to climb. That belief and teamwork has been the bridge to her dream: enrolling on her Level 3 course and moving forward with confidence.
“Every parent worries when their child’s path in education isn’t straightforward. Too often, schools focus on numbers and rankings rather than the individual. What has made all the difference at NHC is the way you have seen Anastasia for who she is, investing in her as a person and not just a result. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
