Community Connect Event
Are you a local business ready to hire some new talent, or a service provider looking to meet new audiences? Join North Hertfordshire College for our Community Connect Event at our Stevenage campus on Tuesday 16th May!
Our event is designed to offer local organisations the opportunity to network and engage with our students, both in Supported Studies and the College as a whole, as well as other organisations who join us.
Our Supported Internship students are looking to enter employment at the end of their studies here at NHC. Whilst this is our main aim, we also look to find other ways that we can support our students in both engaging positively with their community and making the most of the resources and services in the local area.
We’re also supporting students from across our curriculum areas to find out more about the opportunities on offer in the local area, both in terms of employment and support.
We find that many organisations in the area rely on networking to engage with other services and organisations and their target audience. However, this is not always something that’s possible or easy to arrange.
We have designed the Community Connect Event to support both learners and local services in engaging positively and building relationships for the future.
We’d like to offer your organisation the opportunity to join us for this exciting networking event. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to connect with community members during the day, as well as the chance for presentations and to set up information stands.
