North Hertfordshire College is proud to share that our Marketing team won the Silver Award Best Small Marketing Team of the Year at the national FE First Awards 2025! The awards are organised by the College Marketing Network to celebrate excellence within Further Education marketing activities across the UK.
Whilst the award celebrated the contributions of each individual team member of the department, the project at the focus of the award was the team’s work on hosting the Big Draw Festival at the Hitchin campus. The event aims to foster creativity in young people whilst also helping us as a college to engage with the wider local community. The team expected approximately 100 attendees to join the event, but exceeded the target with 285 guests joining the event as a result of the marketing activities. Plus, all the guests reported having a positive experience, too!
The Best Small Marketing Team category at the FE First Awards recognised how the team brought each of their individual skillsets together to promote and coordinate The Big Draw Festival, utilising marketing expertise and strategies in doing so.
Heather Almond, Head of Marketing & Communications at North Hertfordshire College, commented: “As a team, we are absolutely thrilled to receive this award!
