We work with employer organisations, local schools, and universities to develop meaningful pathways for our students.
Other partnerships include local charities and social enterprises, offering community-based learning opportunities. Our community partnerships encourage student volunteering and social responsibility projects, supporting our learners to contribute to community initiatives.
Our partnerships also promote inclusive education, supporting underrepresented groups.

Guest speaker sessions
Could you provide our learners with insight into your industry or career pathway?
A number of organisations and industry-representatives have delivered guest speaking sessions to our learners.
If you have a story to tell our students would love to hear it. You can share your success story, your career journey, provide insight into your industry, or simply help to inspire the next generation. We offer guest speaking sessions in person, online, or via recorded video.
Employer-set projects
Employer set-projects allow your organisation to raise a real-life or fictional challenge that will put our learners’ skills to the test!
Develop employer-led real-world projects for students to work on which will provide your organisation with innovative solutions while supporting students’ development of employability skills.
Our students have worked with a variety of employers on projects that provide experience relevant to their chosen industry. Some of our employer-set projects have helped find solutions to real business problems. Check out some of our recent projects below:
Curriculum development
Could you spare time to help shape the curriculum that our students are learning? At NHC, we continue to develop curriculum that is agile and responsive to changes to local and regional needs.
Our tutors foster innovation and knowledge exchange through strategic collaborations with employers. Our Employer Advisory groups are an opportunity to co-design innovative curriculums and solutions that equip students and apprentices with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed by industry.
The group will include employers from a range of sectors to provide input into our curriculum areas so we can ensure we are covering the expertise and knowledge that you need now and in the future.
Work experience placements
We work to ensure there are work experience and industry placements for all 16-18 year old students with local employers.
A work experience placement is one of the most valuable learning experiences available to our students. By working with your organisation, our learners will gain confidence in their future work environment and be able to apply their classroom learning to real-life scenarios.
We offer placements to all of our learners, including our T Levellers. The new T Level qualifications are designed with employers, for employers. A key part of the qualification is the industry placement, where students are required to complete a minimum of 45 days in the sector to put their skills to the test. Some subject areas require placements which are longer.
