HOW AND WHAT WILL I LEARN?

This course provides a foundational understanding of the key stages of development in children aged 0 to 8 years.

Designed for parents, caregivers, and those considering a career in early years education, the course explores physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development across early childhood.

Participants will learn how children grow and change at each stage, and how to recognise and support their individual needs. The course also introduces practical, age-appropriate techniques to nurture development, encourage positive behaviour, and create supportive learning environments. With a focus on real-life application, learners will gain the confidence to interact meaningfully with young children and contribute positively to their early experiences.

Whether you’re a parent seeking insight into your child’s growth or someone exploring a future in early years support, this course offers valuable tools and knowledge to support children during their most formative years.
