This course in Food Safety and Hygiene is designed for individuals interested in catering, food service, or working in any kitchen setting.

It covers the fundamental principles of food safety, including the prevention of food-related illnesses and contamination. Learners will explore kitchen hygiene practices, such as cleaning routines, sanitisation procedures, and personal hygiene standards. The course also delves into safe food handling techniques, teaching proper methods for receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food. Emphasis is placed on temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and allergen awareness.
