During the course, you will work your way through a BTEC Level 1 Introductory Award. You will be taught to plan, evaluate and improve procedures involving the use of IT tools and systems to improve the productivity and efficiency of tasks and activities e.g. using keyboard shortcuts for common tasks.
You will develop the ability to use a software application designed for the creation, editing and production of largely text-based documents.
You will learn to use a software application designed to record data in rows and columns, perform calculations with numerical data and present information using charts and graphs.
You will learn to use presentation software to create slides, structure and edit them appropriately.
