JOB PURPOSE:

You will be responsible for the quality assurance of learners’ work on a range on online distance learning courses.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Understanding of Ofsted EIF, and ability to support delivery teams to develop towards outstanding
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy with high level of IT skills.
  • IQA qualifications e.g. V1 , L4 TAQA (or equivalent)
  • Significant vocational experience in at least 4 of the below:
    • Level 2 Certificate in Equality & Diversity
    • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service
    • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading
    • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Dementia Care
    • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of End of Life Care
    • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication
    • Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
    • Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration
    • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
    • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
    • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour That Challenges
    • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children & Young Peoples Mental Health
    • Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding, Prevent & British Values
    • Level 2 Certificate in Self Harm, Suicide Awareness & Prevention
  • Relevant teacher training qualification – PTTLS, DTLLS/Cert Ed (Desirable)
  • Professional, accountable and responsible work ethics.
  • Experience of teaching/training and assessment within a vocational context.
  • Capable of utilising IT applications and interactive training tools.

 

 

 

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the quality assurance of online assessment and feedback to Tutors on a range of Level 2 courses ensuring consistently outstanding assessment, feedback and support.
  • Ensure learner achievement is high through effective communication with Tutors to ensure quality provision and strong assessment practice
  • Ensure assessment and feedback meets all awarding body standards and support learners to complete in a timely manner.
  • Contribution to standardisation meetings quarterly
