SALARY: £17,187.39, pro rata  plus pension and performance-related pay

LOCATION: Stevenage and working across group sites in North Hertfordshire

CLOSING DATE: 5th October 2021


We are looking for someone to look after our online and physical library services in Stevenage. As a front line team member, you will be supporting staff and students to access the library services, print ID badges, add print credit, unlock accounts and generally ensure the smooth running of the service. You will supervise a separate HE study area, adult café and atrium spaces. You will enjoy working with young people and be a friendly, helpful face in the student experience team.


  • Salary  £17187.39 pro rata (37 hours per week for 38 weeks)

  • Work as part of a highly motivated, focussed student experience team, providing a professional, helpful and friendly library service
  • Supervising key college areas and maintaining a tidy and welcoming space
  • Working alongside the resources coordinator to ensure the smooth roll out of the online library system
  • Supporting the resources coordinator to ensure our offer meet the needs of the curriculum
  • Supporting the organisation and promotion of student events and theme weeks
  • Supporting the administration of enrichment activities
  • Attending meetings and logging actions
  • Providing front line cover including main reception when required
