How to apply

Applying is simple, just pick from one of the following options...

Wondering what happens after you apply?

It’s really easy to apply – just use the options above.

We recommend you apply as soon as possible to guarantee an early interview. Some courses are popular so we suggest an early application.

We will invite you for an interview where you will discuss your chosen course(s) or Apprenticeship with tutors and any extra support you may require. We will then offer you a conditional place at college. This may depend on your GCSE or other exam results, or whether you find an employer if you are applying for an Apprenticeship.

If you are on a full-time course, we will invite you in early July/early August to your enrolment appointment which will be between the end of August and beginning of September.

All apprentices will be seen and enrolled in the workplace by their skills officer.

Congratulations – if your grades are what you expected – see you at enrolment!

Grades not quite what you expected? Don’t panic – we can help you. In most cases you’ll be asked to come in and talk to us to explore options. Look out for more information closer to the time.

For full time courses, you will meet your tutor and find out about finance, travel and getting your NUS card.

Term starts at the beginning of September.

You will take part in induction which includes Freshers’ Fair, your first lectures, meeting new friends, plus all the help you need to settle in. Apprentices will be seen and enrolled in the workplace by your Skills Officer and you will also have a college induction where you will meet your skills trainer and other apprentices.
