The Lunar Challenge is an inclusive run, walk and cycling challenge using the free Strava app. Colleges across the country are being challenged to collectively reach 238,855 miles by running, walking or cycling to the moon by the end of February. There will be a national leaderboard showing how many miles each college has contributed to the national total.
For those who are competitive, there will be three prizes for the colleges who contribute the most miles towards the national total. This will be total miles including both cycling and running/walking.
There will also be a random prize draw for all participating colleges that reach 300 activities during the challenge.
The Challenge is open to both staff and students to take part. You can get involved by downloading the Strava app to your mobile joining the NHC clubs using the links below:
All activity recorded from Monday 11 January will count towards the college’s and the national total. To track your NHC’s contribution towards the challenge you can find the leaderboard here.
