Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area passed with merit or distinction with maths and English at grade 9-4 (or Functional Skills level 2 or above).
You will also need to complete a practical audition, including a monologue and / or acting workshop.
Future Study and Careers
Progression to university, drama school, starting an apprenticeship or paid employment.
This two-year course is for you if you are passionate about acting and would want to explore building a career in the performing arts.
You will learn through practical acting and devising workshops, which will be underpinned by research, group discussion, reflective journals, video diaries and evaluations.
You will be assessed in three public performances across the year at external theatre venues. One of the three performances will be part of the National Theatre Connections Festival.
You will learn essential techniques such as stage and on camera acting, voice technique, movement, devising, scriptwriting and contextual studies.
Our courses are awarded by University of Arts London and as a Level 3 student, you will have the opportunity to apply for their Insight Programme in London over the holiday periods.
