Join NHC’s TV, Film, and VFX pathway to discover the behind-the-scenes work that goes into the production of your favourite shows and movies.
You’ll have access to the latest high spec technology in our professional, purpose-built TV and Film studio at our Hitchin campus, featuring full green screen capabilities and 4K filming and editing hardware. With a sound-mixing deck and full editing suite, you’ll have the space to bring your creative vision to life and enhance your portfolio.

We regularly bring industry experts into the classroom to share their perspectives and experiences of working on projects. Work experience is built into this pathway, so you’ll have the chance to apply what you’ve learnt from these guest speakers and your classes to real work tasks. Previous students have collaborated with Canon and ITN Productions as part of their NHC journey.
The course in this pathway is awarded by the University of Arts London and, as an NHC student, you’ll have opportunities to apply for their Insight Programme in London over half-term breaks and the summer holidays.

Entry Requirements
For level 2 courses, a minimum of four GCSEs are required at grade 3 or above, including maths, English, and an art qualification; or a level 1 qualification with maths and English at grade 3 or above.
For level 3 courses, a minimum of four GCSEs are required at grade 4 or above, including maths, English, and an art qualification; or a level 2 qualification with maths and English at grade 4 or above.
