HOW AND WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Good food is one of life’s great pleasures. This course will help you move away from calorie-laden, fatty and salty convenience items and provides an introduction to cooking fresh, healthy food simply and well. Whilst working in a relaxed and friendly environment, you will receive expert teaching and guidance and learn a wide range of basic recipes and cooking techniques. Covering the following topics:

  • Quick and easy main meals and desserts
  • Seasonal cooking
  • Leaning and recapping on basic cooking techniques and methods
  • Cooking in advance
  • Handling food safely and safe storage of food
  • Healthier alternatives and the occasional indulgent treats
  • Storage and freezing instructions for prepared dishes
