It’s not all classroom-based, either – as part of your NHC experience, students on the Sports Coaching pathway also have opportunities to take part in enrichment activities. Previous learners have enjoyed coaching experiences in local schools, visits to football clubs and the Olympic park, and even team-building trips to Go Ape and the Snow Dome.
Work experience is built into this pathway, and you’ll have the chance to work with local clubs, schools, and other employer partners to apply your learning and build your CV.

Entry Requirements
For level 1 courses, a minimum of four GCSEs are required at grade 2 or above including maths and English; or an entry level qualification with maths and English at grade 2 or above.
For level 2 courses, a minimum of four GCSEs are required at grade 3 or above, including maths and English; or a level 1 qualification with maths and English at grade 3 or above.
For level 3 courses, a minimum of four GCSEs are required at grades 4 or above, including maths and English; or a level 2 qualification with maths and English at grade 4 or above.
