PSYCHOLOGY

This is a beginners psychology course taught in a fun and relaxed environment.

This course provides an introduction to the broad field of psychology and the many different approaches that psychologists take to understanding human behaviour. You will be taken on a journey through all the major psychological theories which will provide you with new ways of thinking about your own and others thoughts, feelings and actions. Psychology is a broad subject and this is one reason why it is so exciting.

The course is a mix of information and practical activities in a relaxed and fun environment, there are no academic demands as this is a leisure course, although some have used it as a progression onto other courses, including counselling or other areas of psychology. It is designed for those who are interested in the curiosity of psychology without having to commit to completing a qualification.

• Social Influence – why do we conform or obey others?
• Memory/Perception
• Eye Witness Testimony
