Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including maths and English or, a level 1 qualification in either Health & Social Care or Childhood Studies with maths and English at grade 3 or above (or Functional Skills level 1 or above).

Future Study and Careers

Following successful completion of the course, learners can progress on to a relevant level 2/level 3 programme of study. Learners may also progress to an Apprenticeship.

IS THIS FOR ME?

This programme provides the opportunity to gain a vocational qualification that gives a basic introduction to the Childcare and Health & Social Care sectors, designed to prepare learners for further study or training in their chosen sector.
