Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths and English or a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area passed with merit or distinction with maths and English at grade 9-4 (or Functional Skills level 2 or above).
You will also be invited to attend an interview.

You will be able to apply to the second year of the programme, employment or apprenticeships.
Careers available include network manager, software developer/programmer, systems analyst, technical support and computer hardware engineer.
This course is for you if you are interested in computing and how it can be used to develop solutions in software, cybersecurity, and gaming industries.
You will develop practical skills in networking, digital design, software, website, and gaming development as well as knowledge of the IT industry and good practice within IT organisations.
You will develop transferable skills such as problem-solving, delivering presentations, academic writing and working with others.
You will have access to inspirational teaching sessions to help you understand important topics in the industry.
You will complete either work-based projects or work experience allowing you to get a real insight into the industry.
You will look at how to protect big data within organisations, information technology, communication within the tech industry, project planning skills, software and game development and cybersecurity. You will take part in industry events such as Worldskills, ECP network and the National Museum of Computing.
