UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design
An A-level or equivalent Level 3 in related subject, GCSE maths and English grade 4 or above, plus you’ll need to be aged 18+.
You’ll also need a strong portfolio of work which we will discuss at your interview.

Our alumni have gone on to study degree courses in fashion design at Manchester School of Art; design at Goldsmiths College; communication design at Leeds University; animation at London College of Communication; interior design at Bournemouth University and fine art at Central Saint Martins.
Other alumni have progressed directly into employment at the Henry Moore Foundation and local design companies.

You will further develop your skills and deepen your understanding of key concepts across a range of art and design disciplines.
This is a hands-on course, where making and doing are at its core. You will be encouraged to develop experimental and exploratory approaches to creativity across a broad spectrum of art & design specialisms, including fine art, graphics, 3D, fashion & textile design.
Your course will also develop your contextual knowledge, communication skills and critical thinking through group discussions, presentations, meeting industry professionals and visiting galleries.
