IS THIS FOR ME?

If you know you want to start a career in the education and childcare sector, particularly in an early years education role, then an Early Years Educator T Level is a great choice for you.

T Levels will help you build the core skills, knowledge, and experiences you need for success in the sector. Designed in collaboration with employers, these two-year courses provide an alternative option to A Levels and apprenticeships by combining classroom theory, practical learning, and industry experience into one unique learning opportunity.

These courses are assessed through assessments throughout the year, as well as externally-set exams and an externally-marked project.

  • Planning, providing, and reviewing care, play, and educational opportunities to enable children to progress

Employer Set Project

You’ll face a real challenge in the education and childcare sector – as identified by employers themselves! You’ll put your knowledge into practice as you work to research, design, test, and evaluate a solution to the challenge.

Industry Placement

As part of your T Level, you’ll complete 315 hours of industry placement. Here you’ll develop specific skills and get to grips with the real world of work.
