NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Travel and Tourism
Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths and English or a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area passed with merit or distinction with maths and English at grade 9-4 (or Functional Skills level 2 or above). You will also be invited to attend an interview.

Degree-level study at university. Courses include tourism management, international business, aviation management and hospitality management.
Careers include cabin crew, ground handling agent and tour operations.
This one year course is equivalent to 1 A Level and is for you if you are interested in doing a top up course to help you get the UCAS points you need to do degree study.

You will develop a strong understanding of how the industry works as a business and how parts like aviation, tour operations and retail operate.
This will give you the knowledge and skills you need to decide what you will study next or be successful in the industry.
You will access inspirational teaching sessions to help you understand important topics in the industry. You will look at how the industry markets itself and attracts customers, how you deal with customers and ensure they stay loyal, how the industry functions as a business and makes money, and the impact of current trends in travel and tourism
You will develop management skills such as delivering presentations, academic writing, working with others and problem-solving.
You will complete either work-based projects or work experience allowing you to get a real insight into the industry.
