The Level 3 is an introductory teaching qualification perfect for anyone wanting to take their first steps into teaching, or even those of you already in a teaching or training role.

This course is designed to give you an insight into the role of a teacher or trainer and give you the opportunity to:

• Develop skills in teaching and assessment including planning, delivering and evaluating

• Understand the pastoral needs of Further Education students
• Achieve a nationally recognised level 3 qualification

As part of this course you will study 3 units :

• Understanding the roles, responsibilities and relationships in Education and Training
• Understanding and how to use inclusive teaching and learning approaches in Education and Training
• Understanding assessment in Education and Training

These are assessed through written assignments, practical micro teach sessions and reflective accounts.
