What you need to know

IS THIS FOR ME?

This is a beginners cookery class suitable for both novices and cooks with some experience, seeking an introduction to cooking famous Indian dishes.

HOW AND WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Learn to make your own authentic Indian meals with an introduction to cooking fresh and healthy dishes. Learners will create a collection of the various spices used to add flavour and heat to a wide range of traditional Indian foods.

Cookery Topics Covered:

  • Traditional and popular snacks and appetizers
  • Poultry, meat and fish
  • Main course curries and kebabs, suitable for family or for entertaining
  • Vegetarian main courses and side dishes
  • Fresh accompaniments – Chutneys / Pickles and Breads
  • Traditional Desserts 

Please note: Learners must bring their own ingredients for recipes and containers for transporting cooking each week. The tutor will advise ahead of classes.
