This is a beginners course for those interesting in gaining or improving their skills to progress their career in the welding and fabrication sector.

HOW AND WHAT WILL I LEARN?

The Level 1 Award in Welding is an introductory course that will teach you the skills you need for employment in the welding and fabrication sector. If you have worked in or already work in the industry and are looking to refresh your skills, progress or change employers then this qualification will give you the evidence you need to show what you are capable of – increasing your job prospects.

You will study the following units:

  • Metal inert gas
  • Tungsten inert gas
  • Manual metal arc.
