When you apply, you will be asked to complete an online survey to check that this is the right course for you.
You will be invited to an Access to HE applicant event, an informal interview and you will need to complete a maths and English assessment.

This course will give an you excellent grounding in the knowledge and skills you need for a career in nursing and midwifery.
It covers health psychology, health studies and human biology.
Following successful completion of the course you will be able to apply for entry into a variety of nursing and midwifery degree courses.
This course is assessed through assignments, practical tests, presentations and exams. You will study application of numbers and English skills as well as three specialist subjects:
In addition to these specialist subjects, you will study how to promote your own and others’ well-being and build resilience. This will help you cope with the demands of the course and your future career.
In the final weeks of the course, you will complete a piece of research on a topic of your choice related to the healthcare professions.
