Students’ Union Centres
There are various facilities within the College that are designed to help you relax and unwind. As a learner you can access all of these.
There are Students’ Union Centres at the Hitchin and Stevenage campuses. Both are managed by the Students’ Union in conjunction with Learner Services and provide a range of recreational, educational and cultural activities throughout the year.
Our Students’ Union Centre at Hitchin is home to regular live music events and new clubs and societies are set up every year.
General Opening Hours
The Students’ Union Centres are normally open Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 3:00pm.
They offer friendly surroundings, television & video, music, pool and other recreational activities, as well as somewhere you can meet other learners and check out what’s happening on and around campus.
Outside of our normal open hours, the Students’ Union Centres are available for group bookings – including group tutorials, club or society meetings, rehearsal space or even for organising your own social activities.
North Hertfordshire College Students' Union (NHCSU) is the democratic structure of learners at North Hertfordshire College providing a voice and representation for learners. Representation ensures that learner’s views and opinions are heard and give you the choice to influence things that effect your education and your life. See our Learner Voice page for more information.
To take advantage of the great discounts and perks available to learners you need to get an NUS Extra card.
