Open to students looking to start or advance their career in science and employers looking to train existing employees or recruit an Apprentice.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science
Full-time two year course aimed at those aged 16+ designed to provide students with a highly specialist work-related qualification in science. The qualification gained is equivalent to three A Levels.

Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship
A Nationally recognised qualification for those aged 16+ either currently working in or looking for employment within the science industry.

Apprentices will be employed in a laboratory technician job role and will typically spend one day a week at college during term time. Apprentices will learn about the fundamentals of science, pick up practical skills and take a qualification in applied science at either level 2 or level 3.

Foundation Degree in Medical and Applied Bioscience
Part-time two year course aimed at those aged 18+ who already hold a qualification equivalent to 80 – 120 UCAS points. This course will equip students with a broad based introduction to Biomedical and Bioscience in year 1 leading to specialist units and personalised project work in year 2. Students can progress onto Year 3 Biological Science BSc Honours at the University of Bedfordshire.
