NHC funds charity enterprise project

02 February 2012 - sarah

Local charity Keech Hospice Care in Luton, are challenging 20 secondary schools and colleges to use their business skills to generate funds for the charity.

Local schools and colleges will enter teams of students; each team will be given a £50 note and will then have four months to increase their funds by as much as they can, through any fund raising project they choose.

Funding for the initiative is being provided by North Hertfordshire College, which has “adopted” Keech as its chosen charity for the 2011/12 academic year. Each team will have complete freedom with their project, they will need to use their business and team working skills, working within the community to generate funds.

You can keep up to date with the teams and their progress on our Facebook page.
