Friday 27th August saw a successful second day for North Hertfordshire College’s full-time enrolment, this time based at the Centre for the Arts in Hitchin. The Centre for the Arts hosts NHC’s creative and cultural courses, including Art, Design & Media, Hair & Beauty and Catering.
The Hangar proved the ideal venue for the main enrolment and photo ID production. Usually hosting student dance and drama performances during term time, the hangar was the perfect large open space to place the enrolment tills and photo ID machines, whilst still providing ample seating for parents and students who were waiting.
Staff from each curriculum area were on hand to meet and greet students in reception and show them to the relevant area of the centre, talk through the subject and complete the enrolment form.
Members of the Students’ Union Executive Committee along NHC’s Student Ambassadors and Student Crew were on hand again to help with cark park attending, form checking, data inputting and producing student ID cards.
NHC would like to say another big thank you on day two of enrolment to all students and parents for their patience and cooperation through the enrolment process, a big thank you also to all the staff and students who helped make day two of enrolment a huge success.
We look forward to seeing all students at the Fresher’s Fair, Friday 3rd September, 10.00am at the Hitchin centre and then on the Monday 6th September for the start of term.
