Is this course for me?The Advanced Certificate is the second year of the course. It aims to train students in a more practical application of accounting activities than they would receive on a more formal book-keeping course. Students will progress to a higher level of financial study as well as being introduced to the aspects of Costing upon which all financial decisions are based, to assist them in the work-place as well as preparing them in the basics for the final year of the course. |
What qualifications or skills will I need to have to get on the courses? The people who would benefit from studying AAT at this level would be those already working in Accountancy practice as well as those involved in the Finance Departments in Private and Public sectors of industry. |
What does the course involve?• Financial Accounting (FRA) • Cost Accounting (RECR) • Operating Cash Management and Credit Control (OCMC) • Professional Ethics (PE) |
What options will be open to me if I successfully complete the course?Students will normally progress to the Diploma stage of AAT |
