NHC Business students have undertaken a short course to gain interview skills and produce the perfect CV.
National statistics indicate that young people are finding it difficult to secure employment. Human Resource specialists Nikki von Bülow and Tracy Chapman conducted mock interviews with the students and gave feedback and advice on how to be successful.
Karl Hamer, Director of Events4Healthcare in Stevenage and Neil Osmond, also from Events4Healthcare spoke to the students about the potential pitfalls during the job application process.
Business Lecturer Kam Chohan commented: “I feel confident that all of the 44 students who took part in this programme have gained valuable nuggets of information that will set them apart from other applicants when they are applying for jobs.”
