Animal Care

Animal Care is a fast growing and an exciting industry to work in. You will learn about how to care for different types of animals as well as their health and welfare requirements.

All Animal Care courses are taught at our Stevenage centre. We currently have a range of small animals at including a corn snake, tarantula, mice, guinea pigs, gerbils and hamsters. We are increasing our range of animals all the time.

Our courses are based on practical experience complemented by technical knowledge and understanding animal biology. Our courses range from entry level where no formal qualifications are required, up to level 3 where you will need to have achieved a minimum of four GCSEs at grade A*-C, including English and Maths.

Opportunities

Our students are give a wide range of work placement opportunities, as well as visits from guest speakers and industry professionals.

You will receive one to one support enabling you to progress onto further study or employment.
