Higher education courses

North Hertfordshire College offers a wide range of higher education programmes, including business, management, information technology, sport studies, science, fashion and textiles, beauty therapy management and early years.

In most cases the courses on offer are Foundation Degrees, a two-year course designed to develop your knowledge and skills as well as your industry experience. Most of our courses are validated by the University of Hertfordshire. You can choose to study full or part-time.

If you haven't got the formal qualifications required to study at degree level we also offer full and part-time Access to Higher Education courses.

Adult, community and family learning (ACFL)

Whether you want to learn for pleasure, for personal development, enjoy fun activities with your children, or learn for work, increasing your career prospects or returning to work after a break, we have a course suitable for you.

ACFL offers learning opportunities at a number of local community venues, allowing for learning on your doorstep. Specifically designed for adults, the courses are informal, welcoming and fun.
