Skills for life, Your Skills Your Future and ESOL students have spent this week researching different career options and learning how to beat the competition when applying for job.
Students who are interested in starting their own businesses visited the StartUp Britain Bus and the whole group visited hotel Ibis in Stevenage to hear from the hotel manager about their recruitment and the selection process.
Anke Badaru from NHC's HR department spoke to the students about the expectations of an employer and how to meet these.
Head of Curriculum, Caroline Chessum commented:” Overall the week has been a great success and the students have gained a better understanding of their intended career destination, along with inspiration of how they will get there and what steps they need to take to achieve their goals.”
