Enrichment round-up

North Hertfordshire College Enrichment sports teams have had a positive start to their seasons this year, with over 40 students from all sites already representing the Netball, Basketball and Mens Football team. The sports teams act as an opportunity for our students to represent the college against other colleges from around the region in sports they are talented in.

The Enrichment Men’s football team have made a 100% start to their season. The team compete in the BCS East league against other colleges from around the region and have won both their games so far this season. On Wednesday the team beat Luton 6th Form College 2-0 to maintain their successful start to their campaign, two goals from Jack Stanton secured the result for the team. The men’s football team play all their games on Wednesday afternoons and host Samuel Ward Academy in the BCS National Cup in their next fixture.

The Enrichment Basketball team this year are playing in a BCS Performance league against basketball academy colleges and have made a steady start to their season. The have lost both their games so far in their campaign, but have shown fantastic attitudes, work rate and potential to take a lot of positives from. The basketball teams next fixture is away to Bedford College this coming Wednesday.
