For some part-time courses, an informal interview will be required. An interview is a good opportunity to ask the course tutor any questions you may have about the course, the centre at which you will be studying and any other services or facilities the college offers. Please note, as well as completing an application form, once accepted, an enrolment form will also be required. How to Apply
If your chosen course requires an interview please fill in the application form and return it to Customer Services - address shown on the form. However, if your chosen course does not require an interview you can enrol online, by telephone (01462 424303), or in person.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are correct at time of going to press, however they may be subject to change. The college reserves the right to make changes. Where possible, all tuition fees are inclusive of exam fees, materials charges and CRB checks unless otherwise stated.
You may be eligible for remission of fees if you are aged 16 - 18 or are in receipt of a means-tested benefit. All fees are inclusive of non-refundable £30 administration charge. Full information is available on request.
Instalment Policy and Refunds
Fees are payable in full upon enrolment, but individual learners (not sponsors) may pay in instalments if the tuition fees are £150 or more. Refunds of fees may be granted in certain circumstances. Full details available on request.
Fee Remission
You may be eligible for remission of tuition fees in the following circumstances:
• You are a 16 to 18 year old
• You are in receipt of an income-based benefit e.g. income support, housing benefit
• You are in receipt of working family tax credit with a household income below £15,050 (threshold subject to confirmation by DWP)
To claim fee remission you must provide evidence at enrolment. Remission applies against tuition fees, but learners will still be expected to pay for materials, trips and visits if they are appropriate to the chosen course. The £30 administration fee is also payable. Full details about remission are available on request.
Support Needs
Please let us know at application stage if you will require any help and support at your interview and with your chosen course of study. This will enable us to effectively respond to individual educational and training needs and requirements for specialist or modified facilities.
Learners from outside the UK
